Ronald Lawrence Stringer, cherished husband of Shirley Stringer, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas, at the age of 74. He attended John Tyler High School, where he played football as a lineman, and later graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Business Administration. Ron enjoyed a distinguished career in veterinary pharmaceutical sales and was consistently recognized as the top salesman in his field.
A devoted member of the San Gabriel Presbyterian Church and a lifelong UT Longhorn fan, Ron had a deep passion for football and his family. He cherished annual dove hunts and was always active, whether working on projects, tending to yard work, or finding other ways to stay busy. Ron's charismatic personality allowed him to make friends easily. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, particularly enjoying family days by the swimming pool and shared dinners.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Stringer, and his brother, James Stringer. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stringer of Georgetown, Texas; his sons, Jeffrey Stringer (Brittany Bible) of Round Rock, TX, and Brian Stringer (Amy Hester) of Cedar Park, TX; his grandchildren Elise, Grant, Ryan, and James Stringer; and his siblings Yvonne Walker and Donald Stringer of Tyler, Texas.
