Mrs. Patricia Yvonne Richmond born April 9, 1946 in Seattle Washington to the union of Marcus W. Bailey of Shreveport, LA and Annie Ruth Love of Atlanta, Ga. was called home to be with the Lord on Dec 22, 2010.
This world will never see a more loyal wife, devoted mother, dedicated grandmother, great grandmother and loving friend.
After Patricia’s Father died in the late fifty’s Patsi Mother, Annie Ruth a (registered nurse) moved the family to Seattle’s Central Area, where along with brothers Marques & Maurice they all attended Garfield High School. While attending high school she met and later married, Roscoe Richmond Jr. from Memphis TN. This marriage in September 1963 has lead to a fifty-year long loving relationship.
Patricia was an amazing proud woman, and motherhood was her primary focus in life raising both Lori and Elisha, to be able to face the challenges of everyday life. Watching from above Patricia will always remain with her children and grandchildren. Her drive loyalty and motivation runs through their veins.
During her life, Patsi loved being with husband, family and friends, She loved bowling and going to bowling tournaments and meeting people from around the country. Going out to different restaurant, and sampling the abeyance with friends was a pastime she cherished. Let’s not forget the love she readily shared with her pet dogs Austin and Phoenix.
She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of 47 years Roscoe Richmond Jr. her two daughters Lori A. Richmond and Elisha R. Wiley Grand children Tiana M. Carroll, Aja M. Wiley and Amir D. Wiley and one great grand son Jeremiah I. Carroll all of Pflugerville.
Patricia also has two brothers living in Seattle, WA, Marques D. Bailey and Maurice H. Bailey, and host of nieces and nephews, brother in laws, sister in laws throughout the United States.
The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday, December 27, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
