From a young age she lit up the room with her contagious smile and laugh. She was one of the first students to ever attend Davis Elementary School, and graduated from Anderson High School in 2004. Monica was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and attended Northwest Church of Christ. She had a deep love of animals, and children. She adored and helped raise many of her nephews and nieces, as well as many children in her community whom she babysat. Monica was always patient, kind, understanding, loyal, and a very generous person who wouldn’t hesitate to give you the shirt off her back. She loved music, movies and books and was never afraid to be herself. Monica had a very eclectic and varied sense of humor, and could always make you laugh, even if you wanted to cry. Most weekends you could find Monica in the kitchen baking some of her most favorite pies, cookies and treats. She enjoyed Italian food, and loved finding new recipes to try.
Always a kid at heart, with a merciful spirit and a tender hand, Monica will be greatly missed by all those she left behind, and will be graciously welcomed in Heaven by those whom precede her in death, especially her beloved grandmother, Jonny Ruth Haller and her cat Fat Cat.
She is survived by her grandfather, Louis Haller, of Austin, Texas; her father, Thomas Haller and his wife, Teresa of Killeen, Texas; her mother, Vanessa Hadley of Austin, Texas; her brother, Charles Haller and his wife, Jennifer of Austin, Texas; her sister, Patricia Young and her husband, Ross of Copperas Cove, Texas; her sister, Elizabeth Haller of Killeen, Texas; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
