Linda Celia Lopez

Linda’s interests were cooking, quilting, sewing, and taking care of her many grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St. William Catholic Church and volunteered as a member of the Guadalupanas for many years. She will be greatly missed and will always remain in our hearts.

She married her loving husband, Thomas Lopez, on July 24, 1949 who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria, Anita, and Sophia, as well as her son, Carlos, her brothers, Gordon, Arnold, Michael, Jesse, and the late Roy Molina, and her sisters, Ernestine and Joyce. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home followed by an interment in Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
