James W. Parker, III, age 56, of Round Rock, Texas passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late James W. Parker, Jr. of Cranston, Rhode Island.
He is survived by his son, James Joseph Parker of Pflugerville, Texas and his mother Eleanor Parker of Cranston, Rhode Island. He is also survived by his sister Susan Parker of Worcester, Massachusetts, his sister Amy Parker Pignataro and her husband Richard Pignataro of Cranston, Rhode Island and his two nephews, Parker and Luke Pignataro.
“Jim” had a degree in Business Management and was a Commercial Sales Manager for Spectrum Enterprise previously Time Warner Cable, ending his long and successful career with the highest honor, the President’s Circle award. Jim was a consummate professional, respected leader and innovator in his field. He was a dedicated, driven, kind, and caring human being who always strived to be the best he could be. Jim was an Eagle Scout and Boy Scout Venture Crew 4277 Advisor, avid photographer, triathlete, and two-time IRONMAN triathlon finisher.
There will be a Memorial Service in Jim’s honor on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas with Father Thomas Reitmeyer officiating.
