Ignacio Jaimes Jaimes, 75 of Austin, Texas was born February 10, 1949 in El Sauz, Mexico to Flavio and Micaela Jaimes and passed away on December 14, 2024. He was a loving brother, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to a very loving family. He was a jack of all trades and in his younger years worked in the construction and restaurant industries and also started his own business after retiring. He attended San Jose Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where in 2018 he and his wife, of 56 years renewed their wedding vows.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eutemia; 7 children, Hilda Jaimes, Micaela Martinez, Estella Bell, Salvador Jaimes, Eneida Jaimes, Mariselda Gonzales and Nereida Lopez; 17 brothers and sisters; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son, Javier Jaimes.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 10:00am at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home with burial following at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. Reception to follow. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Cook Walden Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Bell, Daniel Huerta, Jaydus Bell, Jeremy Bell, Jose Antonio Campista, Eduardo Campista, Devin Gonzales, Kenneth Gonzales, Jonathon Huerta with Salvador Jaimes, Andrew Castillo, Nickolous Hernandez, Miguel Angel Huerta serving as honorary pallbearers.
