Deborah Jean Pellegrino, 63, of Austin, Texas passed away on November 15th, 2018. She was born in Waco, Texas on October 16th 1955. Debbie graduated from Crockett High School in Austin, Texas and excelled in Paralegal Studies courses at Austin Community College. She was married to Philip J. Pellegrino on June 19th 1993. Debbie had two daughters, Amanda Kit Tollett and Emily Kit of Austin. Debbie’s occupations included various roles in Government and Finance including the Attorney General’s office working on child welfare issues. She had a passion for Family, animals, gardening, cooking, shopping, and most recently, Tai Chi.
Debbie is survived by her parents, Jimmie Dale and Shirley Jean Yates, her loving husband of 25 years Phil Pellegrino, her brother Colonel (USAF) Dennis Dale Yates (Ret.) and his wife Delinda, and their three children Sarah Yates Cejudo, Julie McDonald, and Travis Yates. She is also survived by many children and grandchildren: Greg Pellegrino and wife Cynara, Pam Pellegrino, Amanda Tollett and husband Nicholas Tollett, Emily Kit, and grandchildren; Alexandra Pellegrino, Dominic Pellegrino, Brett Pellegrino, Isabella Pellegrino, Penelope Nunnally, Antonia Nunnally, and Ginger Nunnally.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on December 1st, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.
