Our beloved Betty went to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the age of 79. She is survived by daughter Linette Edwards, and daughter and son-in-law Tamie and Greg Hunt, granddaughter and grandson-in-law Amanda and Kyle Fernald, and granddaughters Melissa and Chrissy Hunt, all of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie, her parents Oscar and Edith Fish, brother George Fish and sister Sandra Dodson.
She was born in Asheville, North Carolina and lived in Newport News, Virginia; Wayzata, Minnesota; Albuquerque, New Mexico and Austin, Texas. She graduated from Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina. She worked as a Library Assistant in Minnesota and as a Chiropractic Assistant in Albuquerque New Mexico. She worked for Shannan Chiropractic in Austin, Texas for 27 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crafting and shopping for a bargain.
A memorial service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10 AM.
