Went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, July 1st, 2013 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Towner. Gracious loving mother and best friend of Maryann Twomey (Dan) and Harry Towner (Lori). Loving grammy of her 3 special girls: Alyssa, Rachel & Emily, “My Girls”. Proud grandmother to David & Vicky. Dear sister of Manford, Clarence, Lawrence, Frances Dempsey, Dorothy Ryan, Mae Chowzen, Rita Mcmillan, Irene O’Hearn, Marion Curtis and the late Alice Hallihan, Annie Levigne, Bob, Don, and Effie Ahearn . Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, 300 Wilson Street, on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
