SHADGETT, Robert Fredrick “Bob” (Retired from CGE after 45 years service, Methods Analyst. Seventeen year volunteer at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Member of Activity Haven Board of Directors. Past President of Peterborough Curling Club. Lifetime member of Kawartha Golf & Country Club. AF & AM Lodge #675 and Member of Peterborough Scottish Rite) Peacefully with his family at his side, on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Extendicare Peterborough, after a courageous struggle in his 83rd year. Bob was the beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Orr) for 58 years. Dear father of Linda Berry of Peterborough, Karen Passmore (husband Wayne) of Kincardine and Gregory of Peterborough. Loving grandfather of Shawn Berry, Tom Berry (Kyoko Amatsuji-Berry), Chris Berry, Lori Passmore, PhD (husband Matthew Garnett, PhD), Amy Andruski (husband Joe) and Jason Passmore. Proud great-grandfather of Anne, Leina, Max, Allen, Kyla, Joy and Ford. Son of the late Mary (nee Clarke) and Rodger Shadgett. Brother of the late James Shadgett. He will be lovingly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 10th at 10 a.m., Reverend Doug Mitchell officiating. Interment Little Lake Cemetery. In memory of Bob, donations to Prostate Cancer Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
