Passed away suddenly after a brief illness on April 16, 2022 at home in his 79th year. Survived by his wife Kathryn (nee Blackbourn) of 52 years, dear father of Christine Cormier (John), Michael (Laura) and Allan (Amanda).
Dear brother of Ronald (Lynda) and pre-deceased by his sister Janice Paul (Ralph – living).
Missing Grampa are grandchildren Kyle, Katelyn, Keegan, Carter, Allison, Mackenzie, Kathryn, Nathan, Quinn, Lindsay and Julia.
Brother-in-law to Eleanor (Tom), Leslie (Barb) and Evelyn (Rick).
Pre-deceased by his parents Donald Hilliard and Emma Bernice (Moore) Lang.
Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, Peterborough on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Memorial Service will be in the Comstock-Kaye Chapel on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 12:30 pm. The family prefers that all guests please wear masks. The service will also be available by LiveStream (scroll down to Services, select join by LiveStream) Inurnment to follow at Gardiner’s United Cemetery, Millbrook.
