Marjorie Constance Schofield

Passed away peacefully at Fairhaven Long Term Care, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick to the late Peter LeBlanc and Ethel Cooper she moved to Rochdale, England where she met and married her late husband Bill Schofield. After returning to Canada she lived in Toronto and Mississauga working part time for the Canadian Standards Association before retiring to Peterborough. Much loved mom to her son David Schofield and wife Claire of Vermont, daughter-in-law Pat Schofield of Penetang and late son Peter of Toronto. Proud grandmother to Michael and Christopher Schofield and their partners Adrianne and Andrea of Toronto. Great-grandma of Cooper and Brody. Peggy leaves behind her dear sister Doreen Hachey of Mississauga and her nieces Marni, Judy, Cathy, Caroline and late nephew Kim. Peggy will be sadly missed by friends and the dedicated staff at the Fairhaven facility where she resided for 5 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:30 am at the COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Following the service, interment will take place in the Memorial Wall at the Peterborough Little Lake Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Funeral Home after the interment.
