Dear father of David Armstrong (Janice), Alan Armstrong (Julie), John Armstrong (Barb and the late Julie Young), Pat Bennett (Robb) all of Peterborough and Jane Smith (Larry) of Orillia. Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Dave), Jackie (Jay), Robert (Kate), Brittney (Ryan), Angela (Jeff), Charles, William, Elliott (pre-deceased), Jillian (Sam), Lillian (Jeff), Kaitlynn (Gavin), Barbara-Jean (Andy), Jodie (Jordan), Frank (Sarah), Mary (Jesse), Stephanie, Stacy, Daryl, Jake, Jessica and Brodie. Great grandfather of Blake, Luke, Jackson, Carter, Marshall, Jewel, Austin, Luke, Ryan, Carter and Violet. Pre-deceased by his parents, William and Velma, brother Bill and sister Mary Anne. Chuck’s second passion in life began in 1967, when he opened Liftlock IGA, eventually followed by 3 more stores, Sherbrooke IGA, Landsowne and Towerhill Sobeys.
