To Dee Burns and her entire family. Years ago I worked with Dee at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. Dee talked about her sister Shelley as much as she talked about her girls. You knew that her sister was a cherished member of the family. You can tell by the photos how much love you each  shared in life with Shelley. It adds a sadness to this holiday season. As you reflect on Shelley's life may you retain those special moments so it will put a smile on your faces despite such anguish. For in the end the love we shared remains with us forever and that can never be taken away. So sorry to hear of your illness, and demise.  You were always so full of life, so much in control.  You were a phone nurse at ORA for many years, which meant you handled all the patients that were struggling in some way.  And you did it well.  You did so much for us, and for our patients.
I'm sorry for your illness, but am glad that you are not suffering any longer.  

Best wishes to your family, especially to your husband, but also your nieces and nephews you were so close to.

I met Shelley at ORA. We worked together in the triage room.  We were friends right away.  For many years after we met, even when we no longer lived in the same town, we enjoyed get togethers and long talks on the phone.  I will cherish my many memories with Shelley. We enjoyed shopping, eating out and just hanging out together whether at my house or hers.  We always drove the distance to see each other and make memories.   I will miss our time together, laughs we always shared and long conversations. She was a Dear friend!  Very loyal, very loving, very generous, very caring and always there for me no matter the situation.  She will be missed so much!  May you rest in peace,  my Dear friend, Shelley. Prayers for Billy and the rest of her family and friends. May God help you through this very difficult time.

Shelley was the  best friend you could ask for. Always kind, always supportive, always loving . Always there for you . I will miss her more than words can say .Her family was everything to her. We were all fortunate to be in her world.

I worked with Shelley at ORA we became good friends. We ate lunch together many times at her house on our lunch breaks.  Shelley was one very special lady, so loving and would help anyone. She had a heart of gold and this world was a better place with her in it. Miss you my friend

Would do anything for you. She was always thinking of others. Love you Shelley and will greaty miss you dear friend.

I will miss staying  at your house in Illinois where we play many games with her .

Shelly and I worked together as triage nurses at ORA. We became close buds. Her sense of humor kept us laughing. I will miss her voice. She loved Billy and her family so much. She was a great aunt snd loved spending time in Florida with them. Condolences to Billy an the whole family. Shelly will be missed.
