Robert "Rob" W. Markham

Robert William "Rob" Markham, 46, of Edwards, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. He was born on May 3, 1977 in Peoria, a son of Robert D. and Peggy L. (Trigger) Markham. Rob married Olivia M. Radcliff on March 30, 2019 at the Old Towne Grove Chapel in Groveland. She survives.

He is also survived by his three children, Eric Radcliff, Madison Radcliff, and Piper Tish, all of Edwards; his father, Robert "Bob" (Lois) Markham of Groveland; his mother, Peggy (Jeffery) Donahoo of Edwards; four brothers, Eric Markham of Peoria, Jebadiah (Ashley) Donahoo of Chillicothe, Matthew (Jessica) Donahoo of Peoria Heights, and Tyler (Lee Welsh) Bodish of Peoria; four sisters, Miranda (Dustin) Simpson of Chillicothe, Angel Donahoo of Decatur, Tara (James) Schmitt of Peoria, Trisha (Thomas) Crambes of Gurnee; aunt, Mary Lou Markham of West Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sandy Markham; grandparents Robert and Harriet "Bonnie" Markham and William and Eileen Trigger; and cousin and best friend, Harold "Butch" Harper Sr.

Rob attended Richwoods High School and Lincoln Land Community College. He worked as a mobile crane operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 649 in Peoria since 1998.

He was a member of the IUOE Local 649.

Rob enjoyed making his own hot sauce, watching his bird feeder, listening to music, and spending time with his family. He was very thoughtful and generous, often putting others before himself. He was loved deeply and will be forever missed.

Rob's memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. His memorial visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am also on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Guests are welcome to wear their Grateful Dead attire. Inurnment is being accorded per his wishes.
