Rebecca Ellen (Tisdale) Jones

Rebecca was born on June 16, 1953 in Peoria, IL to Delilah Bell (Whitfield) Tisdale and William Henry Tisdale Sr. On October 16th, 2001 she married Emest Jones, who survives.

Rebecca dedicated her life to Christ and volunteered to serve the community through her church. One of her desires for her children and grandchildren was to come to know the Lord.

She last worked as a cook for Jumer's Castle Lodge in Peoria, and retired in 1995.

Rebecca is survived by her two daughters, Nichole (David Kingcade) and Rebecca E. Rhodes (Jody McGee) and her two sons, Matthew King, and Michael King, all of Peoria; five siblings, Cinda (Purvis Robinson), William (Melanie Tisdale), Karen (Jose Pallares), Robert (Amanda Russell) and Delilah Russell all of Peoria; 27 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and other family and friends who loved and adored her.

She was preceded by death by her parents, and one son Clifford Harvey Jr.

She was a very loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, who will be missed by those who knew her.

Rebecca's funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Her visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral chapel. Inumment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
