Mary Ann E. Powell

She was born on August 16, 1934 in East Peoria, Illinois to Andie E. and Minnie Hoffer Potter. She married Montague “Monty” L. Powell on April 22, 1961 in Peoria. He preceded her in death April 19, 2006.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, and her parents.

She is survived by her brother Gerald T. Potter of Peoria and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

She attended St. Philomena Catholic Church in Peoria.

Her interests included travel, going to lunch with the girls, working in the yard and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. May 26, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Fr. David Richardson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
