She was born April 27, 1921 in Wombwell, Barnsley, Yorkshire, England, a daughter of Fred and Martha Anne Denton Harrison. She married Charles R. Elliott one June 5, 1945 at Wombwell Parish Church. He preceded her in death May 7, 2007 in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters.
Surviving are three sons, Glenn (Frances) Elliott of Eden, Keith (Linda) Elliott of Pekin, and Kevin (Cindy) Elliott of Hanna City; one step son, Terry (Carol) Elliott of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Kathleen was employed by F.P. Mail Systems in Peoria as a Inserter Machinist retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the Women’s Land Army in England, and the British Ladies Club in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the chapel. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
