Kathy was born on September 20, 1951 in Lincoln, IL to William and Hila (Risius) Button. She married John Morton in 1978. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; and her siblings, George Button, Karen Stocke, and Teri Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Couch; grandson, Evan Couch; siblings, William Button (Cheryl), Ronald Button (Cindy), Michael Button (Lori), Sharon Sellers, Margaret King (Mike), and Melody Chambers; and her step-children, Kelly Morton, Scott Morton, Steve Morton, and Cindy.
Kathy worked at Caterpillar for many years until her retirement in 2004. She loved fishing, bowling, painting, and horses.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, at 2:30pm, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, with a visitation to start 30 minutes prior. Burial will take place at Parkview Cemetery.
