Peoria, IL – Karen J. Kerr, 69, of Peoria passed away at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at her home with her family by her side.
Born Feb. 7, 1942 in Kalamazoo, MI to Arthur and Nellie (Vandenberg) Bos, she married Jim Kerr in Peoria on April 24, 1976. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Tani (Carlos) Espindola; two grandchildren, Hanna and Kessen; two sisters, Marlene Stoops, Linda (George) Selburg; one brother, Arthur (Kathy) Bos; and step-mother, Dorothy Bos. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Karen worked as an accountant for Clifton Gunderson CPA before retiring. After she retired Karen did accounting at home for 10 years.
Cremation has been accorded. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
