She was born April 2, 1922 in Mt. Sterling, IL to David and Julia (Ferguson) Salrin. She married Henry “Hank” Brown on Oct. 3, 1942 in Peoria. He passed away April 5, 1990 in Glasford. She is also preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons: William Brown of Chillicothe, Donald (Janet) Brown of North Port, FL, formerly of Peoria, two grandchildren: Kevin (Jennifer) Brown of Chillicothe, Amy Brown of Chillicothe, and five great-grandchildren: Zane Adolphson, Owen, Addison, Sophia, and Savannah Brown.
Julia was a member of St Ann Catholic Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St Ann Catholic Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Mt. Sterling Catholic Cemetery at 2:30 pm following the services.
