Jill Marie Brooks

Jill Marie Brooks, 70, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 9:03 pm at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on May 26, 1951 in Peoria, a daughter of Jessie and Irene (Manker) Morgan. She married Orville Stevens. They later divorced. Jill later married Bill Brooks. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Tom Thompson, Jack Morgan, Ronnie Morgan, and Larry Morgan.

Jill is survived by her two sons, Ray (Claudine) Morgan of Hanna City and Orville Stevens of Pekin; five grandchildren, Nicole (Tony) Whirrell, Tori Stevens, Trenton Stevens, Tyler Morgan, and Dillon Morgan; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers, Dean, John, Jessie, Donnie, and Dick; and several nieces and nephews.

She worked her entire life. Jill last worked at Kroger on Lake Street where she retired after 12 years in the deli department.

Jill's home was always open. She loved everyone she met and treated everyone as family. Jill loved spending time with her family. Holidays were her favorite, she loved to cook for anyone who came by. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Jill's celebration of life will be at a later date, details will be forthcoming. Cremation services have been entrusted to Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
