Florence M Gunn

Florence M. (Priddle) Gunn, age 101, of Peoria, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 7:40 p.m. at her residence. She was born June 7, 1915 on a farm near Litchfield, IL to John E. and Elizabeth “Vonnie” (Chamberlin) Priddle. She married Ora Gunn of Panama, IL on Oct. 30, 1937 in St. Charles, MO, they subsequently moved to Peoria where they resided for the remainder of their 62 years together. He passed away Oct. 4, 2000 in Peoria. Survivors include two sons: John (Gladi) and Jim, one daughter, Carol, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Florence’s family is grateful to Jackie Guiza, her primary care provider, and Florence’s daughter-in-law, Gladi Gunn, for their loving care and support. Also to the hospice nurses who worked together to give her the best quality of life. Graveside services will be Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Rev. Tim Mitchell of Bethel Presbyterian Church will officiate. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
