Donald D Hamm

He was born June 23, 1933 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Edward and Margaret Hamm. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He married Julie Shawgo from San Jose on Dec. 19, 1978 in Las Vegas. She survives.

Don was a United States Army Veteran. He was employed at Caterpillar, Inc. for 42 years, last as the Financial Director of Caterpillars Engine Division retiring June 23, 1998.

He was a member of the Country Club of Peoria since 1979.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Green Hill Cemetery, San Jose, with Military Honors.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Peoria Chapter.
