He was born Sep. 7, 1939 in Peoria to James and Arzelia (Scott) Parker. He first married Laverne (Thomas) Parker. He later married Helen (Scott) Parker on Sep. 6, 1974 in Champaign, IL.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, two daughters: Tonya (Colin) Nisbeth of Chicago, Annie Atkins of Peoria, five sons: Frank Parker, Eric Parker both of Peoria, Luther (Alma) Scott of Florida, Ralph (Lucy) Scott of Texas Jeffrey Scott of Peoria, one brother-in-law, William Jones of Peoria, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, three brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter.
Carl was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 34 years retiring on April 1, 1998. He was a member of Gospel Experience Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Gospel Experience Church in Peoria and officiated by Pastor Richard Hammonds. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery with Military Honors.
