He was born on July 2, 1962 in Marianna, Arkansas to A.D. and Mattie (Hamilton) Davis. They preceded him in death.
Also preceding Carl are his brothers, Ray Davis and Warneil Davis; and sisters, Linda Davis and Maxine Davis.
He is survived by his children, Tarnisha Williams, Valencia Davis, Jilisa Davis, Carl Davis Jr., and Timothy Hadnott; his previous wife, Gerry Davis; twin sister, Carolyn Avant Davis; sisters, Sandra Walton, Audrey Davis, June Manning, Odessa Butler, Emma Davis and Ceola Rachel; and brothers, Sterling Davis and Alfred Davis.
Carl worked for Star Transport as a Truck Driver for over 25 years. He accepted Christ at a young age, he served faithfully at New Light Baptist Church and Higher Dimensions Praise & Worship Church. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, Westerns, horses, collecting guns and old classic cars like Cadillacs and Buicks. Carl enjoyed gardening, yardwork, grilling, and sprucing up the house.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Carl's Funeral service will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11am, with a visitation to start an hour prior at 10am.
