Art was a tremendous sheet metal worker and HVAC  service man. He was a generational talent. He worked with my father at Meister Brothers, Temco Heating and Air Conditioning, and I think even Myer furnace company way back in the day. He was an extraordinarily talented man, and more importantly, a good man. I have many  good memories of working with and for Art. You have our families condolences and hope that you find the strength to carry on in his image yours, Ed Meister Junior.

We are sorry to hear of Art’s passing.   I remember well his great smile.  He was such a help to us when we first moved Preschool into the new Redeemer building.  He answered many furnace related questions.  We so enjoyed our visit with you two at the Mayflower.   We are thinking of you, Sandy and family, and praying for God’s comforting peace. My condolences to you Sandy and family and know that he awaits your arrival.  A Godly man who spoke the truth and you knew who he was and what he stood for.  I always looked forward to  Friday morning at Childers or anytime I saw him and we would solve the problems of the world.

Art Garland was a treasured member of all of the Meister families. Art worked with us in the heating and air-conditioning businesses that we all enjoyed. Art was as dependable as the morning sunrise, and there was no greater expert in his field of heating and air conditioning. Large projects or small. His expertise was formidable. Art was such a nice person, married to my cousin, and part of our cousins group that used to meet monthly. He had an infectious laugh that I will always remember as will anyone that knew him. So very sorry to hear of his passing. Our sympathies to the Sandy and the family.
