Samuel A Myers

1930 – 2013

Samuel A. Myers, 82, of Pensacola, died, Saturday, January 05, 2013 at Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence.

Sam was born April 06, 1930 in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania to Guy Myers and Sally Allison Myers. He had been a resident of Pensacola for most of his adult life. Sam served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon leaving the Army he went to work for the Civil Service at NAS Pensacola and retired after more than twenty years of service. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed working on his property, fishing and many other outdoor activities.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Myers and his wife, Fran; and brother, Bill Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma W. Myers of Pensacola; brother, Thomas Myers and wife Anita.

Private family services will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, Joyce Goldenberg Residence, 10075 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
