Commander Robert Charles Muller, Sr., USN (Ret.)

Bob grew up in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Glenbard Township High School in Glen Ellyn, IL in 1952. After high school he attended Iowa State University and the University of Tennessee earning a degree in Chemical Engineering.

He joined the Navy in 1957 and served for 21 years. He served 3 tours in Vietnam and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was retired in 1980, achieving the rank of Commander.

After the Navy he was employed in the flight services industry and worked for Burnside-Ott, Boeing and Sikorsky as a contract specialist. He fully retired in 2005.

Bob and Lynn Jensen were married in 2010 in Gulf Breeze, FL. They were happily married for 6 years. Bob was a member of Tiger Point Country Club, he enjoyed playing golf, dancing, spending time with family and his dog affectionately known as Trouble.

Bob was preceded in death by his wives Suzanne Darby and Marjorie Harrington, his parents and older brother Skip.

He is survived by his wife Lynn; two sons and one daughter; Robert (Jeri) Muller of Marietta, GA; Steven (Michelle) Muller of Ocoee, FL; Cynthia (Catherine) Muller of Newton, NJ; Grandchildren, Jessica (Ted) Halkard, Zachary, Jonathan and Luke Muller.

Services will be held at Sylvester Catholic Church, 6464 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL. on Wednesday, July 6th. Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. will be followed by a memorial service at 11. Graveside services and reception will follow at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, FL.
