She was born to loving parents David and Thelma (Stratton) Price at the San Antonio Hospital Kenton, Ohio
She attended Belle Center High School and was an avid BC Eagle. After meeting Steven Mustain at age 19 in Kenton, they married a few months later and started her life long journey as a spouse of an active duty Navy man for the next 22 years. As a fast food manager of nearly every leading brand, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Wendy’s; she honed her leadership skills and was highly sought after. Supervisors noted her strong sense of honesty, fairness, firmness, and commitment to excellence in her management roles.
Phyllis quickly adapted to her surroundings at a new duty assignment with her husband, overseas, or stateside. With two young sons at her side, she would always make a home for her family.
Her love for her extended family was beyond measure. Phyllis was always there to help with her family’s needs.
She is survived by her husband Steven Mustain, sons Marcus James Mustain (Dawn), Matthew Dean Mustain (Jennifer), brother David E. (Butch) Price (Lynda), sister Mildred (Millie) Grant (Jeff), sister Lois Ann Price, brother Robert Price, brother Tony Price (Connie), and brother Stephen Price.
Predeceased are Grandparents Mildred and Earnest Price and Floyd and Ruth Stratton, parents David and Thelma Price, and a brother Paul A. Price.
Surviving Grandchildren Meagan Sullivan, Dalton Mustain, Luke Mustain and Emma Mustain. Surviving Great-grandchildren Anastasia Markwell, Elessedil Sullivan, and Magnolia Sullivan.
Services are at Oaklawn Funeral Home, 619 N New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506. Open visitation at 8:30-9:30 a.m., Chapel service at 9:30-10:30, Committal service at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Foundation.
