Patrick Charles Faught, Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully October 7, 2024, surrounded by family. He was 57 years old. Patrick was born April 30, 1967, in Naples, Italy, to Robert and Frances Faught. They were a Navy family and eventually made their home in Pensacola when Patrick was a young adolescent. He graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1985 and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of West Florida.
In 1996, while working as a popular bartender in Pensacola’s Seville Quarter, he met the love of his life, a lovely cocktail waitress named Aimee. They married in 2002 and later welcomed two children, Julia and Jack, to complete their family. Patrick was a nurturing and doting father and took great pride in watching his children grow. He coveted joining Julia for her horseback-riding lessons and playing with Jack in the pool. He and Aimee shared a wonderful life together marked with laughter, steadfast companionship, and everlasting love. His memorial service will be held on the 22nd anniversary of their marriage.
Patrick had a successful career managing multi-million-dollar IT projects for large corporations, most recently in the role as IT Systems Director at Virtual Media Integration. His work responsibilities afforded him the opportunity to travel the world, visiting many different countries located on 6 of the 7 continents. Though his success in the business world was hard-earned, it was not his greatest accomplishment. His wife and children were his pride and joy. He was a loyal son and a loving brother. He had a deep affection for his mother’s homeland, Ireland, where he relished visiting with family and enjoying a pint. He had a large circle of lifelong friends that will deeply feel his absence. He was charming, witty, and quick to laugh. He was honest, he was true, and a man among men. His mark is indelible and we are all better for having known him.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Aimee, daughter, Julia Eve, and son, John “Jack” Charles, all of Pensacola; parents, Robert and Frances Faught (Pensacola); brother, Robert Faught Jr (Pensacola); uncles John McCarry, Hugh McCarry, and Neal McCarry, all of Ireland and England; aunts Sadie McCarry and Evelyn Byrne, both of Ireland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family in Georgia, Washington state, and Ireland that he loved dearly.
A celebration of life will be led by the Very Reverend Hank Lech on October 26, 2024 at 10 AM, at Bayview Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL, with a gathering following immediately after the service.
