Mary A. Hatcher

1916 – 2012

April 17th, 2012, our loving and caring Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother entered heaven greeted by Jesus and her loved ones.

A dedicated homemaker and caregiver, she enjoyed cooking her specialty dishes which her family and friends enjoyed tremendously. She was a “shining light” in all of our lives making us all feel special in her own way.

She is survived by five children; Wallace Hatcher, Myrl Shiver, Sue Skipper Don Hatcher and Kathy Davis; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Ira H. Hatcher and son, Fred Hatcher.

Though she will be missed greatly, we will cherish the memories and look forward to the day we will be reunited.

The family would like to express a very special “thank you” to Covenant Hospice and to the special caregivers at Consulate Healthcare who provided loving care to our Mother.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Rev. Carl Shiver, Rev. John Skipper and Rev. Jason Skipper officiating.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park, with her grandsons as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Hwy., is entrusted with arrangements.
