Mary was married to Bluford D.”Mac” Carmichael for 65 years after they met at NAS Pensacola. She was a housewife and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and great grandsons. In her younger years, she enjoyed painting, going on walks, and socializing.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mac.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Harris; son, Steve Carmichael; grandchildren, Sarah (Jeremy) Presley, Christina (Ben) Linville, Brittany Carmichael, and Shawnee Carmichael; great grandchildren, Colby Presley, Mason Presley, Isiah Linville, and Jace Carmichael.
The family of Mary would like to extend their thanks to Mary’s private caregiver and friend Tony Coffey and Kathy Hilley. A special thanks also to the Heartlite Hospice Nurses and CNAs.
Private services will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Hwy #90E, Pensacola, Florida, 32503.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Pensacola, FL.
