Martha Bowers, age 86, passed away peacefully from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Born on January 14, 1938 in Marloffstein, Germany. Martha grew up during World War II and endured the struggles of post-war Germany. These formative years shaped her deep faith, love for family, and strong convictions.
In 1964, Martha married Clayton Eugene Bowers and later moved to the United States, becoming a naturalized citizen. She embraced her new home with pride, becoming a true American who loved her country dearly.
Martha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by her children: Georg Bowers (and wife Sherry), Danny Bowers (and wife Darlene), and Karen Foster; her grandchildren: Paige Foster, Brittany Thomas (and husband James), Christian Foster, Tyler Bowers, and Danielle Bowers; and her great-grandchildren: Roman, Roxy, Annabelle, Jayme, Myleigh, Aria, and Jazzlynn.
Her unwavering faith and love left a lasting impact on her family and friends who will miss her dearly. Despite her battle with Parkinson’s disease, Martha remained in good health until her passing.
Martha will be laid to rest at Bayview Memorial Park on November 26, 2024 at 3 p.m. Family, friends, and all who knew and loved her are welcome to attend the service to celebrate her incredible life. Address for Bayview Memorial is, 3351 Scenic Highway 90E, Pensacola, FL. 32503.
