Margaret was born January 11, 1954 in Pensacola, FL to Albert and Mae Carroll. Margaret married John Bodiford Sr. on January 4, 1972 and had 4 children and 3 step children. Margaret was a very loved bus driver in Escambia County Florida for 24 years.
She dearly loved her family, friends, and her job as a bus driver. Margaret was always ready to greet and send off everyone with a kiss on the cheek and “I Love You.” She knew no prejudice. Margaret always had a smile on her face that would light up the room. Her school bus children knew her as Mrs. B, she watched a lot of kids grow up over her 24 years as a bus driver and they all loved her. Margaret was truly an angel on this earth.
Margaret is proceeded in death by her father Albert Carroll, mother Mae Carroll, sister Starr Stewart, brother Buddy Carroll, brother in law Cliff Boothe, step daughter Marsha Fisher, step son John (Butch) Fisher.
She is survived by her husband John Bodiford Sr., daughters Karen and Rachael Bodiford, son James Bodiford (Christina), son John Bodiford II (Tricia), stepson Martin, grandchildren Alivia, Patrick, Laci, Tara, and Hannah, and great grandchildren Brayden Bodiford, Bradley Pitman, and Jameson Smith, sisters Mary Keith (Kenny), Ann Boothe, Teresa Lee (Mark) as well as numerous nieces and nephews, brother in law Richard Stewart and Mollie Fisher, wife of John (Butch) Fisher.
The funeral will be held August 31, 2019 at Eastern Gate Memorial on Nine Mile Road Pensacola, FL at 12-1 for family and from 1-3 for friends with a service to follow. Flowers can be sent to Eastern Gate Memorial 1985 W Nine Miles Road, Pensacola, FL 32534.
