Laura Allison Mabry went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2024. She was born on July 1, 1975, in Pensacola, FL to William and Denise Mabry. Allie was the oldest of three siblings and was loved by her brothers Will and Greg.
Our Allison devoted her life to Christ and was a member of Pinewoods Presbyterian Church and sang in the Brownsville Assembly of God choir. There, she met lifelong friends and created bonds that will go on forever. She dedicated almost 20 years of her career working at Jo Ann Fabrics and touched the lives of her co-workers and countless customers. She was a vibrant soul who most was known for her love of all things Disney. From sparkly mickey ears to Disney movies, she loved it all. She loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and New Orleans Saints football, and we know there’s quite a rowdy group in heaven watching the games with her! Allie loved music, with some of her favorites being “Tay Tay”, Coldplay, Dave Matthews, and Thomas Rhett. Right by her side you could find “all things doxie” as she would say. She loved her dachshund fur babies as her own, giving them Alabama dedicated names and silly life backstories. They meant almost as much to her as her niece and nephew Ava and Jackson did. She cared for those babies as her own and spent her life loving them as much as she could. She loved taking them to concerts, shopping, the movies, and playing in the PRA (pool). Allie brought the warmest hugs and biggest smile to every room she entered. She touched more lives and hearts than anyone could ever imagine. We are all truly heartbroken and will miss her dearly.
Allison is preceded in death by her Father, William James Mabry Sr.; Grandparents, Frank Brooks Hodnette Sr. (Denise), William Gregory Mabry (Josephine); Uncle, Gregory Carroll Mabry; Aunt, Mary Louise Mabry Mancil; and Godmother, Laura Patton Stephens.
Allie is survived by her Mother, Mary Denise Hodnette Mabry; Brothers, Will Mabry (Leigh Anne) and Greg Mabry (Catherine); Niece, Ava Mabry; Nephew, Jackson Mabry; and her Uncle, Jody Mabry.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32503.
