1957-2014
Kathy Rena Davis went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on September 20th, 2014. Kathy was a native of Pensacola and loved the beaches, music, singing, cooking, and spending time with her family and Grandchildren. Her Grandchildren were her greatest joys. Kathy's testimony has touched the hearts of many people over the past few months and many lives have changed and are new because of her story. To us she has left way to soon, but she will be forever in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ira H. Hatcher and Mary A. Hatcher; and her brother, Fred Hatcher.
She is survived by her husband Joel Davis; two daughters and son in laws, Amanda and Donald Hardy; and Natalie and Greg Brault; three grandchildren Tyler Hardy, Waylon Hardy, and Gatlin Hardy; two sisters, Sue Skipper and husband John Skipper, Myrl Shiver and Husband Carl Shiver; two brothers, Don Hatcher and wife Diane Hatcher, Wallace Hatcher and wife Camille Hatcher; her best friend and life partner Bill Rocheblave who has been by her side through thick and thin along with daughters Alice Rocheblave and Tina McIntosh and countless other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. with funeral service on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 2:00 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel 3351 Scenic Highway.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Skipper, Mike Shiver, Billy Michael, Ryan Michael, Jeremy Davis, Ben Weeks, Donald Hardy, and Greg Brault.
The family would like to express a warm and extended thank you to the Peri Op, IR, GE, and 3 west nurses at Baptist Hospital for caring for our mother at the beginning of her illness. We would also like to thank the Woodlands staff and Dr's Ahmed and Judah for your expertise and gentleness with mom. All the nurses at West Florida Hospital, thank you. Covenant Hospice is a Godsend. Angela and Margaret are truly angels. God bless you both always, for helping our mother in her final moments on this earth, thank you for everything.
Thank you for all of the prayers from countless churches, friends, and family. Mom knew you were praying and she loved each of you.
