James Sterling Ward Jr. "Jim" was born in Pensacola, Fl. On 12/28/45 to the late James S. Ward Sr. and Florence E. Ward (Allen). Jim passed away on 5/8/21 and is also preceded in death by his daughter Mary Ashley Ward of Pensacola, Fl.
Jim attended and graduated from Escambia High School in 1963 and later worked for and retired from Hygeia Coca-Cola where he last worked in Sales Management. Jim also served our country in the Army Reserves obtaining the rank of Staff Sgt. working in the Supply Corp. Jim was a lifelong fisherman and loved boating and the beach as well. Jim is also a member of the Pensacola International Billfishing Club.
Jim is survived by his wife Nancy A. Ward, son Michael "Todd" Robbins, daughter in law, Monica Robbins and grandchildren, Samuel Robbins and Naomi Robbins, as well as brothers, Steve Ward and Andy Ward. Viewing is from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Thursday, May 13, 2021at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. A Reception will immediately follow the funeral. A Graveside Service will be at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens beginning at 1:00 pm.
Pallbearers will be, Michael Robbins (son), Samuel Robbins (grandson), Steve Ward (brother), Austin Ward and Allen Ward (nephews) and Beau Harris (close friend).
