Isaac Anderson

Isaac Anderson was born February 20, 1946 in Greenville, MS to Florine and Ivy Anderson Sr.

He was raised in Penbroke, IL and attended school in St. Anne in Kankakee, IL.

There he was also a member and Deacon at Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Isaac was united in holy matrimony to Barbara J. Brown on April 16, 1976. He loved his family. Ike was in the Army and was a proud recipient of the Purple Heart medal.

Ike is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara J. Anderson of Pensacola, FL., daughter, Janice M. Brown of Pensacola, FL., granddaughters, Yolanda M. Brown of Houston, TX., and Yashana J. Brown of Orlando, FL., sisters, Dorothy Lee Anderson-Ellis of Houston, Tx., Mary (Robert) Strickland of Kankashee, IL., brothers, Samuel Anderson Sr. of Kansas City, MO., Cornelius (Gwen Faye) Anderson of Minnesota, Johnola Anderson, sister in law, Rev. Renee Ellis of Louisville, KY and LeWaun of Franks, VA., special cousins, Charles and Rose Johnson of Pensacola, FL., brother in law, Walter (Elba) Hurt Jr. of Memphis, TN., special friend,, Valerie Hall of Penbroke, IL., in addition to a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carrie Anderson, brother in law, Emmanuel Charles Ellis, sister, Betty Lou Anderson, brother, Ivy Anderson, Jr., and sister in law, Joyce Anderson.
