1931-2016
Dorothy Montgomery, 85, of Molino, Florida, joined the love of her life in Heaven Sunday, December 18, 2016. She was born November 30, 1931 and was a life-long resident of Pensacola, Florida. Dorothy was a very devoted wife and mother and was known to everyone as “Mammaw.” She was also a member of American Legion Post 340.
Mrs. Montgomery is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Montgomery and daughter Nancy Ard.
She is survived by daughter Cynthia (John) Cole, sons Jerry (Brenda) Sorrells, John “Red” (Donna) Sorrells, Frankie (Donna) Sorrells, step-son Frank Montgomery, and foster son Joey Marinin, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
