Debra Rae Sneed, aged 70, passed away on December 5, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida. Born on April 17, 1954, Debra a beacon of kindness and generosity, known for her loving nature and humorous spirit. Her smile and vibrant presence made her a "momma" to many beyond her own family.
Debra attended Pensacola High School and spent her career serving the community at Cracker Barrel from 1994 until her passing in 2024. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her dedication to her family and numerous hobbies, which included gardening, traveling, making jewelry and cherishing time with loved ones. Debra's faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and interactions. Her life was a living example of her beliefs, filled with acts of kindness and moments of connection.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Jaquelyn "Big Mamma" and William "Bill" Yawn, and her sister, Susan Yawn.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Stanley Sneed; Children; Tanya Moore, Jonathan Moore, and George Sneed; Brother, Rickey Yawn; Grandchildren; Brian Moore, Tyler Moore, Zachary Allen, Alexis Moore, Summer Stewart, Joshua Peterson, Bayleigh Sneed, Charity Faith Howard, Ava Wright, Memory Moore, and many other relatives and friends.
Services to honor Debra's life will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W. Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534 on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Eastern Gate Memorial Cemetery.
