Corky Berry

Corky Berry, 76 of Cantonment, FL gained his heavenly wings on Saturday, October 22, 2022 while at his home. He was born September 18, 1946 in Troy, Alabama to Carrie and Raymond Berry. Corky joined the United States Air Force and served for 4 years, he lived in Pensacola, Florida for 70 years. In 1972 he became a carpet installer, then in 1991 he opened his own carpet store, Corky’s Carpet. He enjoyed being owner and operator until retirement in 2021. Corky also enjoyed church, he was a faithful Christian and church member of Scenic Hills Church of Christ.

Corky was preceded in death by his parents Carrie and Raymond Berry, 2 brothers: Colin Berry, Norman Berry and his sister Anne Berry Cable.

He is survived by his best friend and love of his life Pam Wilson Gowitzke and his 4 white Eskimo (dogs), his babies: Bubba, Cheri’, Zuka and Beau. He also leave many nieces and nephews, both by blood and also by love (Pam’s Family) to cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Scenic Hills Church of Christ, 1295 E Nine Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32514.
