Alma G. Wilson

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Alma West Wilson 92 years old, born on November 27, 1928 and passed away on January 9, 2021 at her home in Pensacola Florida. She grew up in Cleveland Ohio and moved to Florida in 1956 and spent the rest of her days there. She has been married for 70 years to J.T. Wilson. She belonged to The Red Hat Society, also Eastern Stars for over 55 years and a member of Women of the Moose.

She worked as a beautician, nurse and later in life as a caregiver. She also volunteered in the church nursery for many years. She enjoyed ceramics and painting them as a hobby, enjoyed spending time with her family. She has 12 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand daughter. Saturdays were for movie theatre, lunch and shopping. She enjoyed taking a long drive with audio books on tape. Sparky her dog was a great companion she adored. She spent her life taking care of others.

Alma is predeceased by her parents Ralph West & Geraldine Taylor West and her brother Ralph West Jr. She is survived by her loving husband J.T. Wilson and her 3 children Sandra Wilson, Frederick J.T. Wilson, Debra Cravatt and her grandchildren Kandice Teenah Wirfs, Annette Pate, Paul Cravatt, Anna Lee, Thomas Cravatt, Jeremy Cravatt, Almalee Perez, Rebekah Rivera, Joseph Cravatt, Sarah Cravatt, Elizabeth Manis and Nicole J.T. Wilson.

Her great grandchildren Chelsea Amaro, Cassidy Lown, Adam Bensalem, Kaden Bensalem, Jeremy Vaughan, Clay Vaughan, Ethan Pate, James Cravatt, Amelia Cravatt, Dylan Cravatt, Braeden Cravatt, Kelsey Williams, Austin Josey, Starlynn Josey, Hunter Cravatt, Andrew Enfinger, Evan Manis and Scarlett Manis. She has 1 great great granddaughter Ava Brooke Amaro.
