ADA B. PIERCE1927 - 2014Ada was raised on a farm in Michigan. She met her husband in Georgia and lived in Atlanta and then Jackson, Mississippi before settling in Pensacola in 1961. She was the best mom ever to five children, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was a long time member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. She worked at Ferry Pass Middle School. She loved her large extended family, visiting Michigan, traveling, the Ruth Circle, Homemaker's Club, her home, working in her yard, her neighborhood, and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Olive and Walter Beeman, her siblings Joann, Edward, and Bert, and her husband Walter Pierce. She is survived by her children Mark (Nenen), Philip (Debbie), John (Anna), Andrew (Jackie), and Laura Pierce Chappotin (Rick), her grandchildren Debra (James), Steven, Christina, Cecilia (Sterling), Megan, Erika, Nathan, Olivia, Kate, and Ashlyn, her great grandchildren JR, McKenzie, Alice, Karl, Sophia, and Kaylee, her siblings, Gerald, Walter, Maxine, and Nancy, niece Carolyn (Ron), many other nieces and nephews, and dear friends and neighbors, Marsha and Duke .
