Michael "Tim" Timothy Oakes, age 70 passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Henry Oakes Sr. and Edna Fant Oakes; sister, Cherylle Oakes Quick. Tim is survived by his two brothers, Chip Oakes and Tuk Oakes; three sisters, Bridget Oakes, Robyn Oakes Williams and Linda Oakes Sims. Tim was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tim was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. Prior moving to Pell City, AL 17 years ago, Tim lived in Panama City, FL for 20 years. Tim was a volunteer fireman at the New London Fire Department in Cropwell, AL.
