Mr. Sullivan, a U.S. Navy veteran, was retired from Citation Foam Foundry in Columbiana, Alabama. He was a past president of the American Foundrymen Society.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullivan was predeceased by two brothers, A.C. Sullivan and Huel Sullivan; and six sisters, Almeda Sullivan Wilson, Marcella Sullivan Franks, Christine Sullivan, Naomi Sullivan Powell, Larry Irene Sullivan, and Patricia Sullivan.
Survivors include Mr. Sullivan's wife of 56 years, Charlotte J. Sullivan; four children, Daniel Thomas (Angela) Sullivan, Teena Regina Sullivan (Jerry) Strait, Russell Glenn (Daphne) Sullivan, and Juanita Carmella "Jacy" (Joey) Sullivan Seagle; grandchildren, Gilbert (Tonya) Sullivan, Stephen (Stacy) Sullivan, Niclotte (Shane) Nance, Jerry Lee (Bethany) Strait, Elizabeth (Mike) Mills, Belle Seagle, Asa Seagle, Sterling (Ashley) Sullivan, Kaitlin Sullivan, and Hannah Marie (Bryce) Parker; 12 great-grandchildren, Audrey Sullivan, Sophie Sullivan, Daxton Sullivan, Kelton Sullivan, Kolton Sullivan, Jonah Strait, Jasper Strait, Reagan Strait, Caroline Grace Nance, Lily Rose Nance, Ella Sullivan, and Mason Sullivan.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. A Celebration of Nick Sullivan's Life will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Also on Friday, March 15, the gravesite committal service will be at 1:15 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo.
