Mary Lou Dunkerley, 64, of Chelsea, AL passed away June 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Altoona, PA on April 6, 1960, to William Bush and May Bush. She was married to Jeff Dunkerley on October 7, 1989, in Sharpesville, PA.
While Mary Lou wore many hats, she most recently was a brand ambassador for Shannon Fabrics and a loving grandmother to her two grandchildren. Mary Lou had a passion for sewing, cooking, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.
She was survived by Jason Dunkerley, Courtney Shoop, Jeffrey Dunkerley, Elizabeth Dunkerley, Jonathan Shoop, Audie Shoop, Annie Shoop, Cathy Rose, Karen Anderko, Grace Yeager, and Bill Bush.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 3:00pm, June 25, 2024, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family will visit with friends concluding the service.
