She enjoyed being outside. Up until she was 80, she would ride her Waverunner jet ski alongside family and friends up and down the lake. Later in life she took pleasure in just sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife and boats as they passed by. She enjoyed going out to restaurants and her favorite food was always fish, but, it is said there were not many foods she did not enjoy.
It was a common sight for the neighbors to see her out sweeping leaves from the deck and driveways, or picking up sticks or sweetgum balls out of the yard that had fallen from the trees regardless of how hot or cold it may be.
She loved her family and would stand on the deck and blow kisses and wave goodbye until they were out of sight. She enjoyed life everyday as though it might be her last.
