Leslie Renee Bobo, 52 of Vestavia Hills, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Leslie graduated from UAB School of Nursing and St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was a Registered Nurse for more than 25 years. She traveled as a nurse for 7 years, and worked at Baptist Medical Center Shelby, and most recently, at Brookwood Hospital.
Leslie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herbert and Anna Gilliam. She is survived by her mother, Judy Linn (Mark); aunt, Karen Parker; and cousins, Brett Gilliam, Donny Glenn (Amy), Kelli Ross and Jennifer Glenn.
A memorial service to celebrate Leslie’s life will be at 1pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
