Larry was the kindest, gentlest, and most sincere man. He brought smiles and laughter to many, and was a ceaseless protector and provider for his family.
As a young adult, Larry moved to Toledo, Ohio, where he met and married his wife, the former Kimberly Crew Farmer. They and their two children, Kase and Kelsey, moved in 1986 to Hoover, where he worked at Mayer Electric Supply Company until his passing.
Larry was predeceased by his parents and a brother-in-law, Gary Braman. Survivors: Larry's wife of 48 years, Kimberly; son, Kase; daughter, Kelsey; sisters, Aral Braman and Linda Dahlgren (Terry); and two nephews, a niece, many cousins, brothers and sisters in Christ, and dear friends - he was loved by many.
The family would like to thank Mayer Electric for their support, Dr. Mollie Deshazo and her team at UAB for their exceptional care, and the staff at Affinity Hospice for their tireless efforts to maintain peaceful, comfortable final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation for the Cure the Kids Ride (www.CuretheKids.org), the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), the Wounded Warrior Project (www.WoundedWarriorProject.org), or the Riverchase United Methodist Church (www.riverchaseumc.org).
